I second the Sandy Bridge mobo, the i7 2600(K) CPU, and the UPS.
Although Xeon is designed for servers and can handle much more multitasking, so would be better to get that if this is a dedicated server..

And also the SLC SSD..... Just make sure it's SLC - if it doesn't specify, then it's probably MLC.

Guys I don't see anything wrong with getting a good GPU for a server? Servers can use them too... although I think it should rather be a dedicated rendering GPU, than a gaming GPU.

That Quad Core Xeon for R11k should do the job just fine, will have to add more ram and HDDs to the price though.

Still much cheaper than R30k.

If you are talking business + server then get a "SERVER" from one of the mainstream guys like DELL , HP , IBM , etc etc
These are factory built dedicated machines.

If you still want to build up a high end gaming machine then save some money and get a re-furb unit from one of the above.
The advantage of a new unit is the business support plan // on site // same day swap out unit etc etc -- critical for a real business.
