I have an old E30(Box shape) 318 BMW which is still in almost perfect condition that I want to "soup" up a bit.
What I want to do is get a good nic 318iS motor and take it from there.
The mechanic that I and many of my friends use is a guy that builds up racing cars, he really knows his stuff(or at least way more than I do

He agrees with the 318iS motor but wants to do an entire turbo (T4) conversion, this will set me back about R15K parts & labour(excluding the 318 iS motor)
He figures that the car will give give his 11 sec cars a go, it should put out about 180KW and 240 horses.
I don't want to kill myself so I'm a bit worried about the speed, how fast do you reckon this combo will go? I'll have to do suspension,brakes etc... too so it will become quite a pricey exercise but it should be good fun
