Building new content website - PHP + MySQL the best option?

Hey

I`m gona start building a new website, basically for a niche real estate rental agency to display info for a few hunderd properties max. I`m thinking PHP + Mysql would probably be the way to go? Havent coded that much lately and need to relearn them anyway when I start working now. Any recommendation from the guru`s?

There are a couple of packages available for property listing - Open-Realty and Orodha (both free) that might help you to get started with your coding task. Yes, these are php/mysql based.

so you have little to no experience, and charging a company for work done, and are gonna build from scratch. that shoulds like such a good idea, your client is gonna be chuffed.
