Built-in Bluetooth Not Working

So, I've decided to try and get my phone sync'ing with my IBM X60s laptop. The whole idea is being easily portable, and carrying cables etc defeats that.

So, I've never used the Bluetooth since I upgraded to Vista, and it seems under Vista as if my computer doesn't even have bluetooth. It doesn't show up in device manager! I've downloaded all the latest drivers etc, but still nothing! According to vista, my computer doesn't even have a bluetooth module in it - even though I definately know it does!

Can anyone help?

Maybe you need to enable it in CMOS are switch it on by pressing a button?

Nope. The X60 doesn't have a bluetooth button. On my T60, you push Fn + F5 and it pulls up a little screen to enable wireless lan and bluetooth. On the X60, the screen only has Wireless Lan...and not bluetooth.
