I haven't seen any posts on this here, and there's only 14 hours left to get the bundle. But if you're into indie games, this bundle has some amazing Indie classics along with a whole lot of other interesting and not so interesting games, for $5.

It is a responsible donation. Developers made their works available, and the donations will be split 50/50 between NAACP the Community Bail Fund (CBF). I don't entirely agree with the CBF because it may be applied to those who have 'undermined' the BLM movement. At least this money will be applied where needed. Unlike Rockstar which disabled their servers and then tell their community to donate to eligible charities than to make a donation themselves or to use that 2-hour window to apply all digital purchases as a donation to an eligible charity.

Do note that the bundle only applies to downloads on Itch.io. Itch.io is also an independent call, all these developers chipped their own works in respectively.

People who don't see any cause to support BLM should avoid participating in this donation.

It's a pretty momentous event this, their initial goal I think was to collect $50k, they are fast approaching $8 million in the 9 days that it's been live. When it went live there was around 700 titles, and it's grown by an additional 1000 games since.

I've marked around 80 games so far there that I want to have a look at, and I'm not even half-way through the list.

Here is another bundle, a bit steep,

RAISED FOR CHARITY AND COUNTING...

HUMBLE FIGHT FOR RACIAL JUSTICE BUNDLE

This special one-week bundle features $1,200 USD worth of games for just $30 USD. 100% of the proceeds from your bundle purchase go to support organizations fighting for racial justice. For example, providing legal representation and assistance, protecting and expanding civil rights, and educating the public on racial injustice and slavery.

US$1,243 WORTH OF AWESOME STUFF

100% GOES TO CHARITY

REDEEM GAMES ON STEAM

DRM-FREE BOOKS

For those who are charitable to wants to support NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Race Forward, and The Bail Project (another bail fund).

So... On this note, I see there are many bail funds, and I am curious if this money is appropriately directed. According to the media bail funds alone have received over $90 million. I would have thought it best to centralise the bail funds. for auditing reasons... just asking.
