Bundle usage info on Vodacom4me for Topup

Can you please update your Vodacom4me service so that Topup customers can see the balance available on the data bundles they purchased. For now it is not possible to get the info anywhere on the website.

Under the balance link you can only see the money left and balance of SMS bundles. Data is ignored.

FireTelkom, maybe PM me the mobile number of this account.
 
I have been trying to load a bundle onto my TopUp contract for a few days now and I keep getting pages that fail to load and "We could not service your request" errors on vodacom4me.

I could not even buy a bundle by using *111# - the only way that I could buy a bundle was to send sms to 100 with "Mymeg 500"
 
Yes and how do you load a bundle when the sim card is in a 3G/HSDPA card inide a router?

Same problem here, on Topup 315 vith VodacomSP... no data bundles tab available.

Thank you very much.

I only noticed today that Vodacom4me changed the system for topup customers. Under services I can now access Data Bundles that tell me the amount of Data remaining as well as the date on which unused data will expire. On this page I can also buy new bundles.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Not so fast...

I logged into the link: https://www.vodacom4me.co.za/vodacom4me-personal/login.do
to try & find my data balances - nothing there!!!

It tells me that I do not subscribe to any GPRS data bundles, which is correct, I subscribe to HSDPA! No other info & also nothing under 'services' like FireTelkom referred to. How the heck do I find out if I have any data left???

I had a 500meg contract, now 1Gig, but even that shows up differently on different screens under my 'contract details'. I bought a 'top up' of 500meg some days ago since I was informed that I ran out of bandwidth (even though I upgraded my account the beginning of the month & the tech guy said no prob, will be loaded in 24 hours...).

C'mon Vodacom, don't become 'Vodacon' now...

I have just checked again and it is as folows:

Under My Account in the blue options that appear at the bottom of the choice, you will find data bundles as the option on the second line and to the right. Hope you get it.

Data bundle balance

Thanks both for posting. I have sent my number to vodacom3g.

I have a Vodacom HSDPA card & an MTN phone, somehow the datacard doesn't play nice with the voda data card, so cannot follow your advice ic regarding sending SMS etc. Running Linux, so don't know if there is some other command-line trick I can run...
