Bunny Chow pictures

View attachment 1877096Apologies for the awful photo, only remebered to take one when I was almost done. Lamb quarter bunny from Aunty Anne's Curry in Waterkloof Glen. Not very saucy but packed with meat

doesn't really matter as long as the bread is soaked and is absorbing the gravy - nothing worse in a bunny chow than eating dry bread with no gravy flavor

The bunny chow he ate was amazing and it looked like he really enjoyed it.

The mutton bunny made my mouth water
I have a client in Kharwastan, and they provide a bunny each time we go. Probably from the hotel across the street. But they do talk of a place in Durban proper that they say has the best bunnies. I will ask next time I go down there.

probably Goundens in Umbilo Road - A lot (and i really mean a lot) of Indian people in Durban really consider those to be the best bunnies in Durban ..... some will disagree about them being the "best" but i will say at least 95% of the people who taste it will really enjoy it whichever curry they select to fill it with

Edit : i see that he went there in the second half of the video - it was still playing while i did this reply

New vid dropped, he (Mark Wiens) is in Durbz. Bunny chow and shisanyama

its amazing to see how excited the guy actually is getting while tasting the thing - he genuinely is getting his eyes opening hugely at the flavors he experiences 👍

the guy should not be visiting the Victoria Street market though - i lived in Victoria Street for almost 30 years from the time i was born in 1967 YET i wouldn't be hurrying to go there now 🤷‍♂️ - i was mugged at least three times in that area ..... and that was in the eighties (was one of the reasons why i applied for the firearm license back then) ..... now you walk around there then you are just a walking talking wallet and cellphone target .... truth be told i don't even drive around that area either since it isn't the safest place in the world
