Burger King PE and Quality?

Mcds < Burger King < Steers. Also depends on branch e.g. BK Tygervalley > BK CBD > BK Cavendish etc. Same with Dominos - Stellenbosch one is fantastic food + service wise, the other three branches I've been to in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town do not compare.

Question is simple any chance it will arrive here?

Question Where would you put (rate) it ? (Between mcd  and Steers  ?)

They'll get here… eventually.

Personally I put BK above Steers and McDs. I'm not a fan of Steers' basting.

agreed. steers is just turds wrapped in a bun. BK extra long chilli cheese and the XL.

Yeah, sorry but BK is WAY better than Steers.
I haven't been to a McDs since BK opened in Joburg and I have no plans to go back... Ever. Also, if I was faced with a 1km drive to a Steers or a 10km drive to a Burger King, I'd still go for the Whopper.

All franchise burgers are the same. Rubbish. Rather go to a place where they make their own patties, sauces, etc.

There's a Rocomamas right around the corner from me. The Burger King is four blocks further... I still go for the Whopper.

Usually the price is a lot more though. The only reason I go to BK is the convenience, it's right there next to the MyCiti stop in town (CT).
Had a terrible burger when I was there 1.5 months ago though, complained and they told me "that's the correct burger".
I forgot to take a picture sadly. Usually they are a lot better, go for the whopper.

And before that (in the 70s) you could order takeaways from the side window on the Rose Street side.

Surely the scent of the horse droppings put you off your food?

Edit: Oh, you meant 1970s. :p

I guess it's different for every area. Both McD and BK are crap in Centurion, with BK maybe 1% better. Steers, although a lot less tasty than it used to be, is still quite far ahead of either.

Luckily we have Burger Bistro to make up for the above.

Ask @nick333 his opinion.......he had his first BK whopper in Cape Town on Wednesday night:D

/puts Whopper away

Burger King is pretty awesome. Makes McDonald's seem like it's made by someone who has heard about burgers and chips but never actually tried them.
