Burning everything down

You don't see the irony in your reply?
In a previous post you suggest people are justifying the burning because it happens elsewhere, and then you flip and imply you see nothing wrong with pulling the race card because the ANC does it! What facts? There are no facts here, it is twisting words to fit a pre-determined (bigoted) view point.
 
Dude apart from the bigot comment what is your point about the burning?

Has anything i have said lead you to think i am not telling the GOD's Honest truth? Is it racist to point out a certain race does certain things? Malama sure as F does not think so. Lead by example i reckon :D. Since when does pointing out the truth and a fact make one a bigot?
 
Actually, R13, as noble as your point may be in theory, it really does come down to race in a case like this. You see, whites are sick and tired of being blamed for the fact that the poor downtrodden masses remain uneducated and unsatisfied when in fact it's due to their own blinding stupidity for the fact that they:

a). burn down their own schools, libraries, trains, infrastructure...
b.) continue to vote for a party that has nothing but their own interests at heart and then tell the masses it's whitey's fault for what happened in the ever-dwindling distant past.

Exactly!!!! instead of burning why not get together and say enough is enough let's all vote for someone else? We are fed up so let's do something about it. Nooooooooooooooo let's rather burn stuff and moan about service delivery and come the next election let's all vote for the ANC again. We are so smart look at us we can burn stuff and vote for the anc hahah who needs education, not us we can like to burn loads of things.
 
Everyday i read the news and its burning buildings and people being shot with rubber bullets, i blink and its 1976, i blink, and its 2010.

Surely this happens in Europe and USA as well, but definitely not on such a grand scale as here. Turn on the news, any night, and you're bound to see tyres burning somewhere and cars being stoned.

what i think R13 is really trying to say is that when we make it about race, we include the ENTIRE race, rather than commenting on a few individuals who hold an idiotic view of race. black protesters who burn buildings down and blame whitey for it are no different from white people who hold the view that only black people do this, and they do it because they're black.

certain races do do things, and it's not racist at all, but referring it to the "african way" does become a bit degrading after awhile because of some people. these people who DO burn down their schools are stupid, but to unconsciously group all africans, although unintentional, as if they're all culprits does poke some nerves, even with me.

i think we're all reading too much into each others posts and we can all agree that a certain race does do it more, but in no ways is it genetic or cultural, as there are plenty of examples of people who do NOT do this.

Certain race does it more? Sorry but their is only race that does it. I won't mention which race incase someone gets upset. When we talk about aparteid i never hear people saying don't say it was the whites, not all the whites were involved but the general consensus is the white man was involved in apartheid. Did whites do it more than other races as well? :D.

honestly i can say i experience more racism from white people than from black people. i can also say there are way more black hijackers in southern africa than there are white hijackers. i can also say more black children go missing than white children do, and none of this is racist. some things are just stereotyped and doomed on certain people and cultures, but this is not true for every person within that culture and race. people suggesting that every white person was responsible for apartheid is just as stupid as people suggesting every black person votes for the ANC, and this is the part that gets to people, because some of us have african friends who we get on well with and feel the same way about this country as most others here do, but they're lumped with the rest of the people who perform with the "african way."

plus when black people start getting white friends and see that they don't talk down to them or call them a useless ka***r when they do something wrong it helps dispel myths and misconceptions.

This is Africa - it's the Select Group of Africans' way.

Very generic, can be used by anyone and as a bonus it should hopefully limit offensiveness to only the most sensitive of sensitives. :D
