burning with nero latest version

tell me with a 16x dvd disk,How long does it take to burn say 4.4gigs on to a dvd writer thats 20x.
what is the average time
my time is about 25 minutes,

should take less than 5 min to burn a full dvd at 16x. Sometimes writing can take forever if the pc can't read the data fast enough off the hard drive into the buffer. when the buffer is empty the writing stops so more data can be buffered. this can happen when some other app is using up all the pc's resources.

Around 5 minutes at 16x. Your drive is limited by the max speed of the disc, but 25 minutes is still way too long.

This may sound strange, but check your computer for DRM malware. There is a DRM rootkit called StarForce that slows down the speed of your DVD writer.

F@##CK me,I cant believe that with this new nero bundled with my lg writer,I burned another disk now and it took 46 minutes,First the time remain is 5 minutes then when thats finished it goes to 25 minutes remainig,mmm then i wait.and wait,I have like 1024 ram but this nero sucks it down to 400 left,I said in another post that nero uses 350 ram.There must be a setting somewhere to sort this out as i am now frustrated.

sorted it out drm ticked for one drive only,if 2 is ticked my pc crashes.But its ok,I can live with it.
