I managed to burn my car's aftermarket head unit's integrated amplifier due to incorrect wiring. I've rectified the wiring but now I'm getting no signal out of my RCA ports.

I'm unsure of how to fix this issue, would it be advisable to get a new head unit or would it be worth while trying to get it repaired since it would be more cost effective?

I've looked on the internet for this part but they're expensive, probably due to them being imported.

I'm working with a tight budget because I'm still a student.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

forget about the onboard rca ,just get a set of low level converters for the speaker outputs ,not expensive ,get ones you can set ,cash converters sells them ,untill you can rectify it with a new head unit .

I tried using a black spider high to low converter. Heres a pic of the temporary wiring i tried, was still going to heatshrink and solder but wanted to see if it worked first.
Still no signal though.

Im not sure if the onboard amp impacts only the RCA outputs or if it impacts both RCA and the straight speaker wires aswell.

Ive tried alot of things, one person recommended i get a pre-amp suggesting that it could work as a replacement to the onboard amp but if no signal is coming out of the headunit itself im worried that would be a waste.
