Morning, I woke up to a burst geyser today and would need to replace it.

I need suggestions because I want make it smart, and solar at the same time.

I have homeassistant so can do wifi but no calling home on devices. Bonus if it will be matter compliant in future

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I obviously need to make a quick decision as I am without water at the moment.

Thanks

If you want purely solar then there's nothing smart about it, it just gets hot when the suns out and then cools down during the night. I'm talking about the tube version.

Only go solar geyser if you don't plan on a full blown solar system otherwise just go normal geyser and put that money towards the full system.
