Anybody heard about this before?
I had the guys here this morning to test one of their units. One UPS is around about R5500.
I had the following hooked up:
1. My PC with the two monitors (see my sig)
2. 3 x external Hard Drives
3. Telkom ADSL Modem
4. 4-in-one Laser Printer
5. Inkjet Printer
6. 80Watt Technics Amplifier
7. 24Channel Behringer Mixer
8. Effects Unit
9. Equaliser
10. Dual CD Player
11. 3000Watt QSC Amplifier
I'll be able to run all of this for about 3 hours.
If I switch off numbers 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 I'll be able to run the rest for about 5 hours.
I think its a good price to pay for something like this.
This is a Unit with one battery. You can add more batteries at around about R1800 per battery which will give you additional standby time depending on how many devices you want to run from it.
With this Unit for R5500 I can keep my business running even if there is load shedding.
