Business as usual amid EFF protests

Cape Town and Nelson Mandela Bay report business as usual as the EFF takes to the streets.

Shops and businesses in Durban were effectively closed for the day amid a gathering of thousands of EFF supporters.

Reading some articles on today, some media is sure leaning to the EFF. For some reason they have to drive the emotive support… I don’t get it. All I can tell them is that I'm not convinced.

OT with the Western Cape, WC EFF claimed that metro has been shut down by the authorities, hence they will only be heading to the CBD. The EFF isn’t going to get out on top; today has been a monumental political loss. All they are doing now is reinterpreting the situation to suit their narrative.

An expensive campaign which will only result in people, in particular their target market, being more divisive on the EFF. It is only their opposition which stands to gain.

They push the EFF narrative because emotions sell newspapers.

What they're too dense to realise is that it doesn't have to be negative emotion. They can expose this failure and unite the nation and still sell.

Instead some random journalist will just write a meaningless column about the failure while the rest of the site/paper publishes blatant lies...
