Who are they?

My client, is one of SA’s biggest payment gateway companies based in Sandton.

What will you do?

You will direct and control the overall acquisitions of high volume merchants for this client, through effective marketing, sales and sales support activities in a manner which will generate appropriate levels of profit contribution for the company.
Your duties will include:
• Evaluate market needs and implement solutions to grow revenues
• Identify and qualify market specific opportunities and understand factors critical to successful merchant development
• Drive business expansion of new products and payment solutions
• Develop business plans to enable the identification and nurturing of profitable business relationships
• Market suitable products and gain leads and access to all relevant stakeholders
• Win market share of profitable clients, in terms of facilities and services that strategically lead to long term profitability and locking in of good business
• Marketing and Business presentations to clients providing coherent, convincing, realistically deliverable service that will bring in profitable clients
• Development of relationships with key stakeholders i.e. Banks Merchant Sales Consultants etc.
• Ensure activities are regularly reviewed to ensure that they remain competitive
• Ongoing competitive analysis maintain a flexibility and resilience to cater for local market dynamics

Can you apply?

• Matric & National Diploma in Business (or related qualification)
• 3 years’ experience within the Retail Sales environment/Direct Sales environment (Preference to Financial Services industry/Card Payment and Acceptance industry)
• Driver’s license, car and willingness to travel locally
• Clean credit and criminal record needed (not negotiable)
