Hello,

I'm having an issue with my business email not being delivered. I'm using Cybersmart cpanel hosting for a website and I set up an email account there.

I have enabled the relevant security features like DKIM and SPF but still emails are not being delivered.

If I send to gmail it delivers, but I think the problem is when it goes to other business addresses. They just don't receive my emails, especially when there are attachments. This is really troubling as the attachments are things like documents and quotes that have been requested.

What can I do to ensure that my emails are not being lost in the ether? I have spoken to Cybersmart a few times but they don't seem to be able to find an issue.

Do I need to use google as an email service or something?

Maybe your IP address is currently blocked (blacklisted)? Try a Google search to see how to unblock it.

This is usually easily fixable by your hosting company.
If all else fails, contact them again.
This could be a password issue of the specific mail account. Reset the password and try not use any special characters in the password.
I've had issues where the mail password on Cpanel causes authentication issues if special characters are used.
Just create a strong password with about 30 characters. Letters, upper-case, lower-case, numbers. Noting else. Random entry is fine.
Copy and save the password somewhere safe.
Reconfigure your mail client/mail apps with the new password.
If it is still not working.
Disable you DKIM and use default SPF rules (copy and save current SPF rules for reference).
Test again.
If it's DKIM, you will need to check with the host again why this happens.
If it was SPF, then you know DKIM is working.

If you need further assistance, I suggest you sign up for AWS and their SES (simple email service).
It's literally a few Rand for guaranteed mail delivery.

I checked the cPanel deliverability logs and it shows them all as successful, but still sometimes the recipient doesn't receive it. I'm thinking it's their organisation's spam filters maybe.

The Amazon email service looks like it would work out very cheap though, so maybe I will go that route for peace of mind.
