Do it directly through CIPC its not that difficult. Most of these companies charge an arm and a leg to basically provide you with a free service.

The time saved by not standing in lines and filling in forms make it worthwhile. (and R500-R800 is not an arm and a leg to pay) Have done a few myself through the first link. The biggest expensive is the yearly cipro fee (think R4500 / year) for which you get sweet f**-all

As already said,do it yourself on the cipc website.It is very easy.You do not need to know which forms to fill in.You just choose the correct type of company and the system fills in the correct forms.
Once everything is done (only 2 forms) you just print it out and take it to their offices,WITH NORMAL FICA docs of course.Everything costs you less than R200.You also pay online.They are quite efficient these days,it can take 1 or 2 days and everything is done.
Oh,there is no yearly fee for what you need.
NOTE:Only use the cipc site after hours,it is very slow during the day.
