Look, I think the restructure is probably absolutely fantastic for loads of people. But me? I'm on a 5 GB package. Most months, I don't even manage to use up 5 GB because I use my bandwidth on online gaming and browsing, and that's it. Now it looks like I'm getting a bump to 8 GB - I'm sure lots of other people on the 5 GB package are thrilled, but I'm never going to use that extra bandwidth.

I guess I'd much rather have seen a significant reduction in my subscription charge, really. Since contracts apparently no longer allow downward migration, I'm just not really getting anything I want or need out of the new pricing structure. Obviously I can't expect iBurst to cater to absolutely everyone, but I suppose I was hoping to pay quite a bit less monthly. :(

You'll be able to downgrade your package in the middle of December.

So you pay less and still get 5GB, or you can remain on your current package.

Just give iBurst some time to sort things out.

Your new price will be R445 for 5GB and you can top up for R59/GB if neccesary.

Or R198 for 2g + 1 * 2g (R69/g) booster + 1 * 1g (R99/g) = R435.00 for 5g.
If they allow us to buy 1g data boosters on a 2g package.
