I have read these forums extensively and no where did I see any comments or contribution by Telkom. This is in stark contrast with some ISP's who participate actively on the forums. So I was thinking: Why does Telkom not participate? Is it even aware of these forums or other sites like Hellkom's anger vent? Or is it simply a matter of them not caring? Are we not wasting our time, sitting in our own little corner and complaining to each other about the injustices done by Telkom?
 
They dont respond to the public, thats their official chicken response
 
No they don't care. Hell if you use more than 3 GIGs of bandwidth your an abuser. That's their attitude plus the whole monopoly thing means they don't have to answer to anyone at the end of the day.
 
Yes Telkom are aware of Hellkom because they tried to sue their ass

Telkom are aware of myadsl.co.za and hellkom.co.za a while ago there was an article about it, telkom banning all users from browsing this site or hellkom

Hi guys

I distincly remember a guy on MyADSL about a year ago who answered lost of questions in the ISP section. He was most probably from Telkom.

The point mentioned below, the article was being sucked from a big fat thumb. One of my varsity mates works at Telkom and he confirmed that he visits both Hellkom and MyADSL on a weekly basis without any problems.

Telkom would not be able to handle these forums. As it is, they require a colloquim of lawyers, spin doctors and demon-summoners to answer the simplest questions as posed by ICASA.

I mean, look what the Steve's say and do when let out of their cages - can you imagine the devastation that a Telkie would cause if allowed to post here?

zaptain so you're posting from the USA huh? No wonder you're telling us to stop pressurising and to be grateful. You no longer have to deal with the incompetence of Telkom. BTW your bridge called, looking for its troll.
