Butcheries in Durban

Who do u recommend?

Hi guys who do you recommend in the durban area, I usually use B Naghias for lamb they very good and sell only lamb. Grobbies very good family butcher but damn expensive. ..on average I buy a half a lamb from naghias it cost me between 500-700 max for a small lamb
 
Depends what you want to buy. For braais the family usually tends to go for Clover/Emam Bux.

For normal stuff I tend to go to Karoo/Hope/Ellis Park Butchery, all in the Durban North area. After a long time I've sourced what I hope is a farm that brings in awesome pork into Durban on a regular basis. Everything I've gotten from butcheries in terms of spare ribs have been below-par.

Tried emam bux they are good
 
Was impressed with the few things I bought a at Dirks they were in pavs anyone else try them
 
Prime Cut Meats in 654 North Coast Rd.

Good quality and price. They supply most of the Spar's, Game's and Pick n Pay's as well as select restaurants.

Anyone tried the butchery in reservoir hills. It's the one near the pharmacy on mount batten. Actually I don't if it's still there.
 
Another decent butchy is Hennies in Queen Mary Avenue, just across the road from Port Natal School...

Quite reasonably priced as well from what I remember.
