it will come with a manual that includes the codes for your tellie. It might only work for the basic functions.

It needs to be programmed, but there are instructions with the remote.

If you have a Samsung S4, HTC One, S5, Note 2, Note 3, HTC One M8, they all have IR blasters built in.

They normally have a list of keys for the most common tv makes that you would need to enter. You may have to try more than one but its straightforward.
