apart form traveling to get it, what would be different ?
at least the buysing of my motorbike did not pose any difficulties. Just make sure you get the pinks and register the vehicle in your home town within 30 days of purchase.

I have no idea Obelix, like said total noob question.
Dont want to limit my searching to only western cape.
Just noticed that some car prices in Johannesburg and Eastern cape are better.
Traveling to go get it will be a pain though

If you get it from a dealer, odds are they'l deliver it to you. I bought my car from Vereeniging and the dealer dropped it off in my driveway. Even negotiated a 10% discount. If you decide to go this route, make sure you buy from a reputable dealer and you have some sort of warranty/guarantee. Imagine buying a car from 1500km away and when you receive it, it's a lemon.
