Hey guys,

Is it possible to buy a once-off data bundle on a Vodacom contract?
It would be a lot easier than inserting a prepaid sim every time...

Thanks

You should be able to add a month to month bundle to your contract. Then cancel it when you don't need it anymore. The problem with this is that you can go well over the bundle without knowing it...

@ Park@82 Yes, going over the budle will be a problem.

Would be great if I could buy a data bundle like with a prepaid simcard. I hope this is possible!

Ad-Hoc bundles are also available. They do not repeat like month - month bundles. Activate it once and use it once. Unlike prepaid, once it is depleted Vodacom will start charging you for additional data used. Register the number where the bundle is activated on www.vodacom4me.co.za and follow the usage on there. If you dont want to keep on taking your sim out your phone and put in the modem, go to your Vodashop and request a data sim for 3G. It is then linked to your main cell number and will draw its data from the data bundle that is active on your main account.
