Hi guys,

I bought a Mecer laptop off someone here before, i can't remember who,
Anyway,

I'm buying a new PC for home use, mostly gaming, my current PC is dying.

I'm looking at: http://www.evetech.co.za/Computer-s...-6970-2gb-dx11-custom-built-gaming-pc-42.aspx

Could any of you beat the price shown there?
Also, i'd like to stick in the same kind of price range, is that the best bang for my buck I could get?
Also, is the gfx card up to par, or should I upgrade it a little?

I'd be willing to buy a PC today if any of you could supply :)

Either post here or inbox me

Thanks guys!

EDIT: I'm in JHB, bedfordview area

Now you should really look into the Sandy Bridge systems: eg. 2500K with P67 motherboard.

What do you need? Screen, keyboard, mouse, operating system & case (with everything incl.)?

R15k would really give you a monster of a PC if it excludes the screen & operating system!

Be sure to include a 120GB SSD :)

I just got an E-mail from Eve-tech with their latest deals and they're actually listing a gaming rig with an overclocked i5 2500K @ 4.5GHz !
See here: http://www.evetech.co.za/Computer-s...-custom-built-extreme-gaming-desktop-175.aspx

It's definitely a much better deal than the one originally posted, although I would still rather build my own machine :)

Eve-tech has really impressed me now with their selection of pre-built PC's...

Thanks for that site Lounger.

They've got pretty sweet rigs, but I really find it frustrating if they don't specify each and every component's brand & model number!
Like I don't know what kind of power supplies they're using for their high-end rigs...

I've already complained with Eve-tech w.r.t. their missing component info, and they haven't really done anything about it.
