Buying a larger LCD

I recently upgraded my pc and have the following:

Q9550 + G31 mobo
MSI geforce 9600 GT
19" viewsonic lcd wide

Ok the LCD and 3d card is a bit older then quad core. But im thinking about getting a samsung 2494 HS or 2333 SW or something equivalent. I want something thats also widescreen. I watch alot of movies and series and do play alot of games.

What i would like to know is if its a good idea going for a bigger screen with my current 3d card or should i rather stick with 19" for now. And what would u guys say are the ups and downs owning such large lcd's.
 
Jip, the 2333SW is a great monitor (from what I've read and heard), and it's not expensive! So I'll go for the 2333SW and then take some of the cash that you would've / could've used towards a bigger graphics card later on.

Card is fine.

Low quality media will not look good on the screen if you sit to close to it. The display will show the quality flaws in your media like DVD, divx etc.

I have a 2333SW.... awesome screen. If you want bigger, go for the 2494 or the T240/T260... but for the current price (around R1900) it's an amazing screen.

Have you made your mind up yet about your final choices?

Here is a model you might want consider...

Samsung's new P2350 - R2300.00
P2370 - R2799.00

Last week I bought myself the new P2350 And I'm a happy chappy :D
 
Nope haven't made a final choice yet but i will surely look into those to models as well.

+1 watching stuff fullscreen with my LG W2242S really shows off the bad quality.
