What documentation do i require from a Dealer when purchasing a new vehicle,to enable me to register it and
get the number plates.If it is a used vehicle what documentation is required.

If it is a new vehicle the dealer should be doing all of this and it should also be included in the agreed price.

If it's a new car, the dealer should do it for you, however, if you have decided to do it on your own, you will need the following:

Yellow NCO form, filled in and signed by them.

NATIS document in their name.

Invoice stating it is paid in full.

Then you will have to go to the Licensing department, fill in a blue RLV form and take a certified copy of your ID, and you should then be able to register your car.

If it's a Used car, you need the same, but just add a Roadworthy Certificate to the pile.
