You can buy 100 roses for R120 at a florist near Spar on Hans Schoeman St (Just off Malibongwe)
100 Roses is more impressive than 1.
Or maybe buy 10 bunches
Not sure of the quality tho, just saw the sign on the way to work.

the plan is to search for the most beautiful rose and then just give it to her as a reminder that the rose has nothing on her beauty ... ill do this every week ... looking for a rose that can match her beauty ...

Dude, by the flower.
My wife & I have been together for 8 years (married for 1) & she really appreciates the small things just as much as the bigger gifts. It shows that you think of her not only around special occasions.

I like to consider myself to be completely unpredictable .... my lovely wife never knows what to expect from me even after 17 years together ....
Yes they do appreciate teh small gifts, but it is the big ones that count .... then they have bragging rights with their girlfriends about how awesome hubby/bf they have ....
@adam: forget the flower - if she is your wife - get the diamonds instead
small, less expensive gift: parfum, shoes, etc.

Try picking her a bunch of wild flowers. I'm sure that it will mean more, because then she would see that you are prepared to put time and effort into making her happy and every last flower was hand chosen by you for her.
