Buying a Used Car

I just went to see a car and I love it. Its from a private seller, I've never done this before, what happens now? Don't wanna get ripped off. What are the steps to follow from now?

Check service history. Good inspection of the vehicle itself, lift up the floor mats and check for any dampness and water marks. Look for any kinks in the frame or body panels to see for hidden accident damage. Start up and rev the engine from cold, make sure there isn't any weird noises. Also make sure all paperwork is in order, would be a bonus if you could get a look at the underneath of the car
