Buying a Windows slate

So I'm busy deciding on what Windows slate/tablet to buy.
These are the two I am deciding between:

The Asus has a slightly bigger screen, but it looks like the CPU is 0.3Ghz slower.
Are there any other differences that I should be aware of? Are the CPU's the same besides the speed?

Also, are there any other tablets that I have missed?

Why not wait until Win8 tabs are out? Bound to get a better selection and maybe price as well...

Although Samsung are reportedly just slapping Win8 on their existing slates...

And I doubt you'd even see the 0.3Ghz diffs...

Any reason you want a slate instead of a Tab? The app you want to run WinX64 only & not available on iOS or Android?

Well both of these run W8 fine. And if I wait I'm going to be waiting atleast 6 months which really isn't worth it.
I am using it for dev, so it has to be windows. Plus W8 is awesome (from using the dev preview).

You are kidding right? Running Windows is very different to a little ipad...

Spec for spec the ipad is more expensive. But yes, I realize it's a lot of money, but it's my money, not yours

Erm, yes, I am set on it. That was never the question
I was simply asking if I had overlooked something on of of the ones I posted, or if there was another Windows slate that I had missed...
