Buying an xbox

Hi all

I have been everywhere and looking all over the place but cant seem to find an xbox elite with the R3399 price tag.

I know that it was announced on the 27th of august or something, and Im going to get an xbox this weekend, but seeing as there aren't anymore Pro's around I decided to get the new elite. I am obviously short on cash so Im not going to get the super elite, I just want an xbox with a hdd.

Can anyone please tell me when we will be SEEING this price drop in stores?
* I prefer local stores such as CNA,Game etc.

You will have to wait till October for the new prices/consoles. Now just watch for a bargain of "Old" stock and make sure it's a JAASPER

I'm looking for a 2nd hand XBOX 360, no extras, can have faulty CD, all I need it for is a media extender.
