Buying and Installing Sound

Alright ladies, I have taken a look around and I have found a bit of useful information now I want to ask if there are any experts around.

I have around R3500 to R4500 to spend on sound for my car, it is a 2008 VW Polo with everything stock, I am actually only getting the car in a day or two. Now I have read alot of guys saying that a decent split system with sub and amplifier is what I should be looking for. I am happy to do so however what specific products and or models are available currently that I should consider?

I have seen a special on the Autostyle page with :
1 x Sony Xplode CDX-GT280 Cd Mp3 Front Loader
1 x Sony Xplod 12" 1000watt Pentagon Subwoofer*
1 x Sony 300w 6x9" speakers (pair)
1 x Evo 1800w 4channel Amplifier
1 x Blaster Tweeters
ps +- R2400 for the special

Anyone got any opinions on the products and the performance? I am not looking for the most spectacularly awesome sound system, just something that is loud, clear and wont die with excessive use.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
