Buying Euro's

Any ideas on the best/cheapest place to buy Euro's? I'm going to Ireland for Christmas.

At the airport, all the exchanges are right by each other, best prices and easy to compare rates

Just draw money there with your bank/cheque/credit card, it's the cheapest.

Don't they use Pounds in Ireland? As far as I remember the UK wasn't keen on joining the European Union.

I was in Ireland last year they use the Euro , in Northern Ireland they use British Pounds, Northern Ireland is much cheaper by about 40% compared to Dublin. You can change at the Airport , avoid South Africa , they charge 1.5% - 2.0% Commission and another 2.5% on the Rate. So you loose out 4% or 4.5% in total.
