Buying from Electron-World... is it safe?

I bought a cellphone from them, all went well, so no negative comments - except that they charged me a premium for using Paypal.

But when I tried to buy another item a month later, they had blocked me from checking out (???), and I ended up buying another cellphone on eBay.

It was actually easier and less of a hassle on eBay.

Ok... thing is i cant seem to find this camcorder for cheaper in green anywhere

Look, I did get the phone, so if the price works for you give them a try.

BTW, the NZ thing is a bit of a cover, the phone was shipped out of Malaysia (Fedex) - not that I mind, it worked fine.

One thing - make sure any electronics you buy internationally work on 220V AC (UK, SA, Aus etc) and not 110 (USA). Would suck if you buy a camera and can't charge it.

Good point rsd, although most electronics these days are supplied with auto-sensing 100-240V adapters. The only problem you might encounter is that it's supplied with a non-South African plug.
