Buying Litecoins

Hey guys,

I've been looking to buy some litecoins but i'm completely stumped as to where to buy them from. From what I've picked up, I need to buy bitcoins and then go onto BTC-e.com and convert those bitcoins into litecoins. It's a pity, because I can't seem to find an easy way to buy bitcoins either! Pretty much all the advise I've found on the matter is aimed at Americans and the sites suggested aren't suitable for us..

Any advise as to how I can buy some litecoins? It would be appreciated..

Mtgox doesn't support Litecoins, only Bitcoins. Also, if i'm not mistaken, it takes about 10 days for mtgox to process your order and, with the way Bitcoin prices fluctuate, that can make a huge difference!

I just wish there were a simple way to buy these things. As in, use your credit card, and simple receive coins in exchange...

To buy litecoins you have to first buy bitcoins. To buy bitcoins you can use Bitx they are an SA bitcoin exchange company. The other method to buy bitcoins and hence litecoins is to use. PayPal and Virworx there is a tutorial on YouTube on how to go about it. Once you got your bitcoins you can use btc-e and exchange them there. I am currently using btc-e they not bad at all
