Hey guys I want to run wired connections from my router in the dining room to the lounge and my bedroom through the ceiling. Where do I buy these cables in Durban or online?

Most IT companies can create according to length .
Alternatively check the local PC shop , they might be able to refer you to someone /place that can help.
Generally cheaper to have someone create to specified length than to buy pre made .

^ This ... I live in a very small Dorp in the Overberg, which has little PC-tech infrastructure, but there is a guy who repairs PCs and the like. I popped into his tiny shop, and asked him about where I could buy a long Ethernet cable. He asked me what length I needed, I told him what I wanted (a 3 meter cable), he disappeared into his workshop, and re-emerged about 5 minutes later with the length I specified, with the Ethernet connection fitting at each end of the long cable. It cost me less than R100 if memory serves me right. He apologised for it taking so long, but he said he always checks the connectivity integrity of every cable he makes up.

Wrong section!

Ethernet is baseband, not broadband.
