Buying memory cards.

Yup, it's worth it. They are Class 6 cards, which means decent speed. I use these in my AVCHD camcorder to record full 1080p HD video - no problems.

Thanks, will get them this week. I first thought to get the verbatim 3X 2gig cards, for R199. But the speed kept me from going for that. And for a R100 more, better speed and 2 gig more.

That's quite a nice card. I prefer to use Sandisk, but if you're not willing to pay that price then the Verbatim will suffice quite nicely.

That is a great deal, but you can get cheaper.

R115 4GB Patriot Secure Digital SDHC Class 6 Signature Line Series
R127 4GB Kingston Secure Digital SDHC Class 6 Memory Card

Even with delivery it works out cheaper than Makro. Depends on what make you prefer and how far you are willing to travel I suppose. These might not be Sandisk or Verbatim, but I've never had a problem with Patriot or Kingston Memory before. Expansys sometimes have a few good specials on Sandisk SD cards.

But have a look around, might get it even cheaper somewhere else!

I'll second the Sandisk advice. They also offer a guarantee, sometimes for LIFE.

I feel quite safe with my Sandisk cards. You get recovery software with it too (even for Mac). I never thought I'd had to use it, but the other night we were in the pub messing around with my friend's 350D, and took some pictures of our other friend and his new girlfriend. Later she got hold of the camera and deleted all the pics of herself. So I loaded up the Sandisk recovery software and got all the images back just fine :D
