Buying my first car

Agree with the Fiat 500 or the punto.

Stay away from the renault. they love dropping valves.

I've heard that the Fiat 500 is overpriced and OK, not good but OK. If you go for used, see if you can get a vehicle that's under motorplan or if you can understand the motorplan and how it works, ie. BMW is all paid by manufacturer but Merc is a stepped plan. My advice is if you taking out finance, rather go for the cheapest option even if its below your standard, you can always upgrade once its paid off by trading in or selling the old vehicle. I hate when people overpay on interest cos they impatient.

Personally I would not take the Kia Picanto even though I drive a Kia and am very pleased with it.
I drove a Picanto rental and it felt and sounded like a bread bin on wheels.
Noisy, plastically interior and lots of rattles with only 25000km on the clock.
It's a budget car.
The Polo Vivo or Yaris would be a better choice.
