Hi guys, so i decide on buying my first ever tv lol and im going the 3dtv route so i decided on this samsung one:
UA40C7000 http://tiny.cc/j5nb9

One question i cant seem to find is does it come with 3d glasses and how many?

Now the salesman also told me i will need a 3d blu ray player also to watch 3d stuff on it and that a normal one wont work, is this correct btw? Also are all blu ray dics 3d enabled?

So yeah its looks like a decent tv and i would appreciate everyones opionions about it ,omw this is so exiting:)

Looks like a nice TV.

Normally they come with 2 sets of 3D Glasses, then cost you around R2000 each for any extras. That's the last time I checked.

I looked at that model when I bought a while back. Eventually decided LED wasn't worth the extra cost and went for a series 5 LCD, the LA40C530.

3D films and TV are a fad in my mind, and that some top directors are rejecting it is just another sign that it won't get very far. If you are ready to spend that level of money on a TV, then get a bigger non-3D LED TV, say a 46" and revel in the size.

There are 3D blu-rays out like Avatar but your blu-rayer has to be capable of playing 3D. The PS3 has capability to play 3D.
I agree that it should be 2 glasses included. Normal blu-rays will work in 2D. If you got/get a PS3 you can also play 3D games.
Make sure you shop around cos you can save couple a grand.
