Take care, there are two models of this lens. One with "APO" in the name, and one without it. Avoid the latter. There is a new 70-300 OS model, which is more expensive, but from what I've seen slightly better than the old APO model. Worth checking out.

Hopefully customs plays nice. They held up on lens for nearly a month once and then the next time it flew through. Go figure.

Yeh, fingers crossed.

FYI, I was at the Post Office the other day and was that digital cameras are only taxed 7%. Whereas other items are taxed 30%. Phew...

So, I guess after shipping and tax its still going to be way way cheaper than buying it from a South African online shop like Camera Land.
