Buying prepaid data bundles remotely?

Hi All

A client of mine is wanting to get a internet connection for a small office that is situated where no land lines are available.The one route we can go is with vodacom but he does not want the workers to abuse the internet connect so wants to only use a prepaid system.

Is there a way to send data bundles to a sim card without having to have it? In other words does vodacom have a portal where you can buy data bundles for a number just like you can buy air time for people?

FNB apperently has a facility where you can load data bundles directly. I have never used this though as I no longer bank with them.

Yes just use internet banking to buy airtime and use vodacom4me to convert it to bundles.

The simplest way is to use the 3G manager service from Flickswitch. It loads data bundles directly onto the SIM. You can also set up recurring recharges that are loaded every month. It's like a 3G contract, without the contract commitment. See www.flickswitch.co.za.
