Buying PS3 Games from Overseas

Is it worthwhile to buy PS3 games overseas or does it come out to the same price?

it all depends on how long you willing to wait. It takes about 3weeks ordering via sites like take2. However, there is a large savings. Often, PS3 games depreciate quickly overseas eg. Buying Bayonetta costs R700 in any SA shop, but buy it online for like R290 with delivery

It can be a bit cheaper since overseas sites tend to be pretty competitive compared to retail prices and plus the rand is quite strong now. You also find some nice discounts and specials now and again. Only problem is delivery and customs charges are a bit unpredictable.

Its often MUCH cheaper. Also don't worry about regions as these don't relate to games

Just assume you're going to pay them and factor that in.

luck of the draw, sometimes you pay nothing
