Buying Xbox 360 Elite

So... I'm thinking of buying an xbox in a few weeks time. I was perusing the web and discovered that Incredible Corruption has the Elite for only R2800! This is a good deal right? I doubt it comes with any games, but thats fine. Considering that for only R300 more than the Core one gets a hard drive and whatever else it comes with.

Ah thanks. Funds are rather limited, so I'd rather buy my own games seperately. Thats why I would've gone for the Core, but for R300 more I can get the Elite, which is way better I think.

Sure, but for R200 more than the IC offer, you get two games

They may not be the newest releases, but they'll keep you occupied until you're able to buy a game of your choice. With the IC offer, you'll be sitting with a console without any games at all. And Lego Batman is a pretty cool game!

Agreed though - Elite >> Core any day.

True, but TBH I think I'd rather have one game I want than two I don't particularly want...
