Hi Guys

Anyone used BVS Telecoms before?
Cant seem to find anything out about them. They seem to be a white branded reseller but wont give out any info.

They don't even have offices but are able to sell at 3c above interconnect.
Any info would be great.

Their website has a business address in New Road, Midrand. They have a 087 35 number which is a number range assigned to Internet Solutions.

If it is 3c above interconnect, then test the service (assuming you can test without obligations). Make a call and see if a CLI comes through. The calls may be routed via cellular LCRs.

Hi Guys,

This is not possible as any Tier 1 Provider has to pay ICASA license fees & there are numerous costs involved to manage a carrier grade network.
in this case I can’t find any info on BVS Telecoms being a Tier 1 provider so I assume they are simply reselling services from a carrier network.
I agree with Wirefree and suspect this is SIM based technology on a per Minute billing basis.

Hi Metatron,

The BVS website is under construction, apologies for this. we do have offices in midrand.

BVS is a wholesaler of voice minutes. We do not do refilling of voice traffic nor do we do sim banks. All traffic is local interconnect with CLI. You are more than welcome to test our services as we only offer guaranteed voice quality at the lowest rates possible.

You are more than welcome to test the services with no contract obligation.

I don't think 3c above interconnect is possible unless someone is not paying ICASA license fees....

We've used these guys, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. There service ethic is atrocious, they're arrogant to deal with. We've had a system that's been unstable from the beginning. They're always blaming Telkom for completely unrelated issues, that is if they respond at all. We're trying to cancel our agreement with them and, even though we've had a very onerous relationship, they want to charge full fees till end of contract. Definitely not service orientated or ethical
