I wanted to give a very early head's up to all of you Zul'Aman raiders out there:

Once Wrath of the Lich King goes live, you will no longer be able to obtain the Zul'Aman bear mount by saving all 4 prisoners in the timed run. The Bear Mount will be replaced by a very good, epic item that is level appropriate for people doing the zone. To be clear, the Zul'Aman bear mount is supposed to be an item of very high prestige. We want players who have earned it during the appropriate era (aka before the level cap gets raised) to be recognized for their accomplishment. We have absolutely no problem with higher level players (above level 70) going back and doing Zul'Aman after Wrath of the Lich King is live. We just want to preserve the accomplishment of having saved all 4 prisoners at the intended difficulty level.

We will most likely do something similar with the titles "Hand of A'dal" and "Champion of the Naaru" as well.

Please don't panic! You still have plenty of time to complete these feats! Wrath of the Lich King is coming along great but is not ready yet! In fact, we're not even in beta yet! So have fun adventuring for your bears and titles but please consider this your early warning.

I've got one, yay! but i am happy they doing this. Keeping it a rare mount, showing some real achievement as it does take some time, outside progression from ZA to get it down to a T

Grats man that is a really good achievment, I have only seen a few on our server.

Would be interested to know how you guys get through the scouts to Fire guy, assuming you do him after bear as we are grapling with 3rd chest. We dont have gear for 4th but recon with a bit of luck could get 3rd soon. We always seen to get a scout near to the tree were there is the 5 pull with the dragon (and the scout on the mound) that means we loose to much time killing extra adds.

Entangling Roots on the scouts, and get your MT to charge (to stun) and get your dps to burn him down before he makes it... with enough dps it they die in about 3-5secs

1. 2 Tanks
2. 2 Healers
3. 6 DPS

Our Setup #1

1x Warrior: Protection Spec with good tanking gear.
1x Druid: Feral Spec with good tanking gear and dps gear.

1x Paladin: Holy Spec with good healing power.
1x Shaman: Resto Spec with good healing power.

1x Priest: Shadow Spec
2x Hunter: Any Spec, BM Pref
1x Warlock: Any Spec would do, but a Destro would go best
1x Mage: Any Spec
1x Rogue: Combat, Anything else can GTFO! my raids!

Our Setup #2

2x Warrior: Protection & Fury (Both with good tanking gear)
* PvP Arms can GTFO my raids! & PvE Arms are a last choice for Speed Runs.
* Fury over arms for speed runs.

1x Paladin: Holy Spec
1x Priest:Holy Spec with 10k HP Minimum! Crazy Healing power and regen while casting CoH Spec!!

1x Hunter: Any Spec
1x Shaman: Enhance with good gear!
1x Mage: Any Spec
1x Hunters: Any Spec, BM Pref
1x Warlock: Any Spec would do, but a Destro would go best
1x Priest: Shadow

Fury over Arms:

1. No need for Blood Frenzy as there is not enough Physical DPS to warrent it.
2. Has Steady DPS, Never Rage Starved

Shadow Priests are here for the mana regen and Shadow/Stam Buff, Paladins are used for blessings and BoP's for those aggro hungry dps'ers. Hunters give party +damage buffs and crazy dps! Shaman Resto/Enhance used for Heroism's, Totems and Raid healing. Holy Priests are also used for Raid healing
CoH spec! Rogue for extra dps, Warlocks for the curse/fear/dots/damage. Mages for the food! oh and Sheeping.

Offtanking would be Druid or Fury Warrior, both with good tanking & dps gear, as they would then become an extra dps when no 2nd tank is needed.

Kill Order: Akil'zon (Bird)--> Nalorakk (Bear Boss)--> Jan'alai (Egg Boss)--> Halazzi

* Dont loot the extra chest, its time consuming! Grab ur badges and move out!

As for scouts, Tip is to stay mounted. Warrior and Druid can both charge in and bash/stun or if u have a Dorf/Draenei Priests u can stay mounted and rush in an chastise, giving the others some time to nuke it down.
