Briefly played with one this evening (completely forgot I ordered it last year, and received it earlier this year) and it seems quite cool for small projects.

Any reason why one would consider this of a raspberry?

Built in wifi, bluetooth, storage, smaller, price, built-in LiPo charging. It's not necessarily better than the pi (of which I have a couple), but it has some things going for it.
