Hi, i just recieved my Compro C100 capture card and after spending a few hours trying to get it working, finally got it. I'm using a normal RCA cable to connect my TV to the card, not sure if it's the same thing as a composite but that's where it's plugged in on the card. Anyway the quality is really bad and i'm not sure if it's because of the cable or not.It came bundled with Ulead Video Studio and that's all i could get it working on. I knew it wouldn't look great on my LED monitor but not this bad. Here's a pic of the quality. Looks 100x worse in full screen.

What is your source? SD/HD Dstv decoder/ TV-out on the back of the tv.

What resolution are you capturing at?

Then are you playing the video on the pc monitor?

And do you also want to play it back on the tv?

What type of TV is it? Size and crt/plasma/lcd/led and 720/1080.

EDIT: If its that compro videomate C100 capture card take it back and get your money back rather.

Tell us what tv and video sources you have and what you want to do.

Its just Tv-out, 54cm CRT tv.I'm not sure what res its streaming at,but changing the capture mode to dvd shows 720x576 but doesn't change anything. I don't want to play back on tv. All i want to do is watch TV on my monitor, which it does,it just seems like a lot of (noise?) or something on the cable causing that white fuzzy look. Not sure if using s-video will make a difference? The tv doesnt have s-video port so would have to use an adapter.
