C200 AMG line

Please advise what is the engine size of a Mercedes Benz C200 AMG line? MM code 44048295

I see some reviews/specs stating 1.8l but others state a 1.5T engine.

I also note discrepancy between MM code as well as some stating it has a 7G vs 9G gearbox?

Pretty confusing.

Likely to be a 2litre, though there are variations based on the body type, i.e saloon, coupe and year model etc..

Yep I know C180 is a 1.6 so doesnt make sense that a C200 is a 1.5T yet that is what the specs state on some sites

I know C220 is a 2L turbo diesel

I just checked now, seems like they have a new 1.5T that is more powerful than their old 1.6T. The one in the AMG line has 135kW and 280Nm compared to the 1.6T 115kW and 250Nm.

It def has 135kw. Must say its quite nippy ito acceleration.

Impressive power figures from a 1.5l engine, I think it is the most powerful 1.5T in the country.

Seems impossible! My 2.0T gave 177kw in comparison.
