Cable thieves electrocuted in Johannesburg

True. Blue or orange overalls complete with reflective vests. Whenever I drive past people digging on the side of the road, especially where I know there may be underground cable, I always wonder...
 
They should electrocute all cable thieves.
I have no sympathy for them when you see the pain and suffering they cause to others.
I'm on the Resident's association and the number of people we get called out to help who are on oxygen or other medical devices who cannot cope when the power goes off for 24 hours or more.
It's shocking that this government allows these thieves to continue like this.
electrocute them all.
 
Hopefully it was actual thieves and not a couple of guys who were forced to do the digging.

The government should ban trade in any form of "scrap" copper. Quite simple really. But they do not. Why?
 
I cant help but think of all the people with aquariums, the poor fish when the power goes down. Those damn thieves didnt think of that now, did they?
