Cable thieves with AK-47s are killing security guards

Absolutely true.

Zandile Gumede of course now being a good example. Elected eThekwini despite the fraud charges. Criminality is embedded in the ANC.
That's a big fish, but its not just her.. example: the one's lover accused her of recommending positions for him in government until her husband found out about their affair.. ROFLCOPTER

Who needs Gooptahs when we can just appoint family, friends and current lovers as they come and go?

Our little democracy experiment in South Africa has failed, maybe we expected fish to climb trees.. :crying:

But who buys this cable?
Is it exported to Taiwan?

In the Cape Town container terminal in Jan 2021, a container was opened and found to contain 22 tons of assorted copper and aluminium cable. The Dept of Customs approached the exporter, but were unable to identify the cable as product sold in SA. The exporter runs a scrapyard in Bellville South. So the container was shipped. The SAPS declined to get involved as there was no immediate evidence of theft
They don't care.......
