Cake or death consists of mostly ex shard members including a few officers, now for those that don't know what shard is il explain, Shard was a S.A raiding guild that made quick progress in tbc by downing nerfed bosses using welfare epics gained from hundreds of hours of kara farming.
In their minds their progress was fantastic and their epeens started to grow causing their ego's to go out of control, alas the pressure rose too quick and the guild exploded.
COD is a fresh look with some new talent but its run by the same people so i have my doubts, hopefully they can find enough braindead skilled players that will put up with their negative attitudes for long enough.....

If you have had bad experiences at the hands of a CoD member, I encourage you to chat with any member and report the issue. We place high value on our members treating other players with respect; after all, we can hardly expect respect if we don't give any.
On the other hand, if you have a grudge against ex-Shardians, I'm afraid that using CoD as the new focal point for your anger is unfounded, as well as pitiful. CoD is not Shard, and was not started by Shard members.
In the interests of open & communicative inter-guild relationships, feel free to chat to me in-game if you have any real concerns to lodge against CoD members.

iirc CoD is actually mostly ex-Affliction. Shard disbanded and went many different ways, some CoD, some Rez Sickness, some Pap en Vleis, etc etc. CoD is hardly Shard's spiritual successor. And FYI it disbanded because of burnout and officers pushing too hard, while many members weren't interested in progressing as rapidly. We let too many fail casuals in. Judging from your tone you might very well have been one of them.
Just to clarify: none of the original founders and leaders of Shard can be found in CoD so your statement is completely false. You may want to let people in the know state the facts next time.
Yeah, we had no issues last night on Spider wing and up till Gluth.
On Gluth we got wtfpwned by lag. About half the Raid DC'd.
Everything seemed a little better so we tried him again, lag runneth over again so we cleared Plague wing.
It was still laggy there but not quite as bad and easier to deal with.
I found it funny when we were in 10's watching all the 25's complaining in General, but now I commiserate with them. It's ridiculous. On Gluth we had two Decimates that were 9 realtime seconds apart. People seem to think it's just the instance server being overloaded, but I figure there's not nearly as many guilds doing naxx25 right now as there were doing Kara back in the day. And why is there next to zero lag in 10-man then?
Haha there we go again, epeen!, this guy is a great example of my distaste for shardians, this guys philosophy is "It's not about how well liked you are but how well you play the game." . ???, no wonder your guild fell to ruin because nobody liked you and your cronies. I would rather play with nice players in blues than play with pricks that can click abilities in a timely fashion.

It's pretty apparent that you got burnt either as a member of Shard or by a member of Shard. I suggest you take it up with that person in private instead of attempting to bad mouth a guild that is only related in that it contains some former members of Shard.
Very simply: we have no wish to be reviled by the rest of the SA WoW community. Why would we? So if you have a problem with CoD, either a) post facts, or b) post nothing. I'm confident that our public conduct has been purely exemplary. If it hasn't, let me know, and I promise you I'll take steps to address the issue immediately.
The only thing your slander is achieving is drawing more people to read this thread and hear about CoD. And for all those people: we're still looking for some DPS to fill out the team

Bad feelings aside, there will always be people who have something against guild X. I have said it somewhere (cannot remember where tho) is that it is the nature of the game. Just like IRL, you are bound to run into a bunch of people you do not like. ***** happens. Move on and make a group of new friends. It is petty to come here and make generalised statements which reflect badly on the guild as a whole instead of pointing out the actual issues. If someone rubbed you up the wrong way Affinity, deal with them directly.
